Beauty Wholesale Intern at Kjaer Weis - New York, NY

We are looking for a wholesales intern, 10-15 hours a week, preferably on Monday/Wednesday/Thursday who will be responsible for:

  • Manage a system handling 200k+ in back orders and out of stocks

  • Communicate shortages to Sales Manager and Accounts

  • Partner up with Sales Manager and utilize back orders and replenishments as a selling tool to maximize orders with excellent communication on promotion of new items, campaigns and servicing opportunities with retailers

  • Manage the freelance calendar through entry of time/dates artist has booked with KW

  • Sample send offs for all KW Events and communication of tracking numbers to store managers and Sales detail oriented skills.

  • Enter all sell through data to Retail Calendars for Sales Managers

  • Ship all samples for business development, sell-in and provide tracking to Sales Managers and Potential new retailers using KW standard communication “voice"

  • Provide tracking numbers for all accounts and back orders

  • Track newness ordered by account and follow up with accounts for newness orders

  • Confirm all rsvps for education related broadcast trainings with an account book of 200+ retailers

The successful intern will be an Analytical Thinker / Creative Problem Solver / Confident Communicator / Seller:

  • Proficiency and mastery with excel and data entry tools

  • Strong background with data and simple math

  • Detail oriented and organized

  • Wholesales Interest/ Background

  • Able to see tasks through from start to finish in a timely manner

  • Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate with Account Managers and cross functional groups with confidence; great problem solver.

Job Type: Internship

Salary: $10.00 to $15.00 /hour
