E-Commerce Intern at Box Beauty - Atlanta, GA

BoxBeauty is seeking a detail-oriented team player with exceptional judgment to manage listings and grow sales on eBay, Amazon and other online marketplaces. The ideal candidate is a highly organized self-starter with 2-3 years of relevant experience who is comfortable working independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced digital/e-commerce environment. The E-Commerce Intern's day will be spent managing listings, optimizing product visibility, researching new opportunities, analyzing data and growing marketplace opportunities. You must be able to succeed in a small company atmosphere, possess a strong sense of urgency, and thrive in a fast-paced environment while wearing multiple hats. Great time management skills will be a must, as you will be expected to work on several tasks/projects simultaneously. Someone who is a self-starter, needs little oversight/supervision, and is determined to succeed.

Mandatory Experience: 

• Positive, can-do, professional attitude, independent and self-directed yet also team oriented

• Exceptional attention to detail with ability to plan strategically and manage multiple tasks in parallel

• Ability to analyze marketplace data and sales analytics for use in forecasting and communication with others

• Experience with product listings, data feeds, search engine marketing is required

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, plus the ability to quickly learn and work with the new systems and software

• Spreadsheet wizard with 2+ years of experience working with Microsoft Excel.

• A general understanding of computer science

• Inventory management experience

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Working with and finding new shipping carriers

• Setting up accounts for additional 3rd party marketplaces

• Setting up selling privileges in various countries

• Troubleshooting and problem solving for ongoing operational needs as they arise, including product alignment, product availability, etc

• Identify, escalate and resolve data management issues

• Document, communicate, and recommend changes for data management business rule gaps

• Reconciling pallet shipments sent to fulfillment centers

• Fixing stranded inventory errors within the fulfillment centers

• Gathering product related documents, product data, and other general research

• Working with various software/platform support teams

• Raise, track, and follow up with tickets submitted to Amazon

• Raise, track, and follow up with internal help desk tickets

Box Beauty was conceptualized in October of 2016 and made its first sale on Amazon in January of 2017. We have since broken into the top 500 of all Amazon sellers. Our business is primarily B2C but a B2B revenue stream is in the works. Also, our website is on track to launch next quarter.
