Influencer Marketing Intern at Flamingo - New York, NY

**Applicants must be in commutable distance of New York City, and should be prepared to dedicate 2-3 days a week to the internship depending on their class schedule**

Flamingo is looking for a superstar intern to join our Marketing Team.

The ideal candidate is brimming with ideas and passionate about the beauty and wellness space. They're eager to be part of a small, awesome team and make a big impact in bringing Flamingo's influencer strategy to life.

About the team

Influencer Marketing sits under the Flamingo Brand Marketing team to bring the brand to life through community and influencer partnerships. This role would report to the Senior Influencer and Community Associate, but work closely with teammates (Social Media Manager, Partnerships Manager, Brand Director) across all channels. The team is creative and diligent, with a commitment to doing the things that are right for the brand and our goals.

Who is this person? What experience do they have so far?

With this role, we value personality, work ethic, and an enthusiasm for what we're building over experience.

The ideal candidate has a million ideas about what we could be doing and is excited to share them and help bring them to life. They are tapped into a broader conversation about the ways women are portrayed in culture, and want to be a part of pushing that forward in a positive and meaningful direction.

They're a clear communicator, strong writer, and has an eye for detail. They're just as comfortable sending a charming cold email as they are discussing the latest trends in body care (nothing is TMI in our office!).

They have a no-task-too small attitude (like the rest of the team), and can manage a lot of information with organization and efficiency.

What they will accomplish:

  • Engage with, and build, our community through social media @meetflamingo

  • Capture and archive UGC in the Google Drive for the team to reference for marketing needs

  • Research potential partners who align with our goals, and execute thoughtful seeding to introduce people to our products

  • Help vet and respond to incoming influencer and partnership requests through the partnership email

  • Manage the shipping doc each day to make sure products go out to influencers and partners in a timely manner

  • Organize product inventory for the Flamingo team

  • Track posts for social campaigns and organize data / content in google docs to share with the larger team

  • Comfortable with FedEx and messenger services

Everyone has a private body care routine. Places they want hair, places they don't, and ways of caring for and removing it. Meet Flamingo, body care that starts with hair.

Since Harry's launched in 2013, over a million women have used and loved the products. To a collective of women on the Harry's team, it became clear that we could create Harry's-quality products designed for the ways women were actually using them—like on their legs, underarms and bikini lines.

Harry's Inc. started in 2013 with simple, fairly priced products that delivered an amazing experience to guys every day. Since then, Harry's expanded to the UK, developed relationships with retailers such as Target and Walmart, expanded our grooming brand into a personal care powerhouse, and launched a women's brand called Flamingo.

The key to our success? Our amazing people. From chemists, mechanical engineers, CX associates, to creative directors, sourcing managers, and logistics specialists, Harry's team is comprised of some of the most brilliant, diverse, and humble people you'll ever meet.
