Are you obsessed with following beauty influencers on social media? Do your friends look to you for the latest trends and ideas? We are looking for an intern with an interest in beauty who is detail-oriented, organized, and has a desire to learn the fundamentals of influencer relations from a marketing and social media perspective. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and loves a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a passion for beauty and teamwork.

Versed is the sister company to Who What Wear, the millennial and Gen Z media, marketing, and consumer brands company. We combine community-powered development with retail know-how to incubate and scale the next generation of vertical beauty brands.

What You Will Learn In Your Role

• How to think critically about social media objectives

• How to support the social media team across Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and YouTube 

• Best practices of effective community management

• The basics of influencer marketing from research to outreach tactics and tracking

• The basics of event planning

• Creating and sending out mailers for gifting initiatives to media contacts, celebrities and influencers

• Monitoring for organic Instagram content

• Exposure to other cross-functional teams

What We Require For You To Succeed

• Enthusiasm for influencer relations and fashion; interest in beauty a plus

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint Word and Google Sheets

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize time-sensitive assignments
