E-Commerce Intern at MAKEUP FOREVER - New York, NY

Overview:

MAKE UP FOR EVER is looking for an Intern, E-Commerce, based in New York Office and reporting to the Director, E-Commerce. This person will support the operational flow of the North American e-commerce site and assist in the strategy and execution of e-mail marketing.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate online store settings and maintenance tied to products and promotions

• Work with the e-commerce team to update site content such as homepage, promotional offer pages, using a content management system

• Collaborate on weekly and monthly reporting using various solutions, including Google Analytics

• Assist in developing creative ideas and improvements for site content, enhancements and site functionality

• Help execute online marketing strategies & promotions, inclusive of CRM, Owned Media and Paid Media

• Conduct research on industry trends & market opportunities, presenting insights and recommendations to the digital team

• Perform competitive analyses for a variety of marketing programs, including email marketing and promotional strategy

Qualifications:

• Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

• Strategic, analytical and creative thinker; flexible approach – constantly looking for new ideas

• Planning and organization skills with the ability to manage multiple duties simultaneously

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)

• A penchant for technology and the digital space

• Interest in Beauty/Retail/E-Commerce is a plus.
