Position: Intern, Public Relations

Location: Sephora Field Support Center (FSC) – San Francisco, CA

Rate of Pay: $22/hr 

Start Date: 06/08/20 or 06/22/20

End Date:  08/14/20 or 08/28/20

 

Job Description: 

  • Assist the team with all public relations endeavors and initiatives throughout summer 2020. Areas of responsibility include: supporting the public relations team with departmental initiatives and activities, assist in execution of support activity for Field Marketing, assist in facilitating press materials and supporting product for Sephora Collection and Store Openings, manage Sephora Collection comps and comp tracker and assist in coordination of planning, logistics and execution of press events.

  • Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company.

  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture, so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as Field Marketing, Sephora Collection and Brand Marketing

  • Develop, grow, and have fun


 

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach

  • Contribute to Sephoria, Holiday 2020 and Sephora Collection Planning

  • Learn from the best by interacting with a dynamic team of professionals


 

Education and experience:

  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field (COMMUNICATIONS/JOURNALISM/MARKETING) and is currently a junior or senior in credit hours

  • Previous experience/internship in Public Relations

  • Passionate about all things beauty

  • Socially savvy and creative individual who has their finger on the pulse of current trends

  • Energetic and hard-working individual who is organized and pays attention to detail

  • Able to multitask confidentially and effectively

  • Collaborative individual who works well with others

 

Time Commitment: 

  • Hours: 32-40 (expected to be physically in the office 4-5 days every week during standard business hours)
