Part time intern for Los Angeles blogger The Glow Girl by Melissa Meyers. The blog shares Melissa's passion to help women "glow" from the inside out. It was created for sophisticated women between the ages of 30-55 out of a love of all things beauty, fashion, wellness and lifestyle.

Description:

Seeking qualified candidates to assist in promoting The Glow Girl by Melissa Meyers lifestyle blog and brand.

Candidate to provide support with social media posts and daily workflow of blog, newsletters, and brand pitches. Must be extremely knowledgeable and comfortable with social media including Instagram, Instagram Stories, Facebook, Facebook Live, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube.

Qualifications:

Excellent writing, grammar and organizational skills
Passionate about beauty, health, fitness, fashion, lifestyle, pop culture
Follows and familiar with important fashion, beauty and lifestyle bloggers
Knowledge of SquareSpace, Mailchimp, & Photoshop a plus
Strong social media skills including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest
Digital photography & videography skills
Tech-savvy
Must be extremely detail-oriented & organized

Tasks include:

Help manage social media accounts with daily updates
Sending out and preparing weekly newsletter
Assist with the research of products and brands for press coverage, photography and editing images
Follow up with brands featured and PR companies for each blog post
Admin-filing, updating documents, errands, list management
Dinner reservations, filing, office organization, travel

10-15 hours/week

Position requires candidate to be on site 6 hours a week at home office in Bel Air & available for photo shoots on location. This is an unpaid internship with the opportunity for college credit. Lunch provided daily.
