Marketing Intern at Mented Cosmetics - Harlem, NY

Internship Program

The Mented Spring 2020 Marketing internship program will run from January - May. The exact start and end dates for each participant will be determined before hire and will depend on individual college requirements.

Our Marketing Intern will experience the fundamentals of marketing an online beauty business, including social media management, influencer marketing, and digital marketing.

NOTE: You must be able to receive college credit for the Spring 2019 semester. We are looking for an intern to work 2-3 days a week preferably starting on Mondays or Tuesdays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating copy and managing content for social platforms

• Assist with weekly management of the company blogs, The Ment and Press Features

• Help manage our robust influencer and content creator database

• Assist with event planning including product launches, pop-ups, and festivals

• Identify and leverage relevant beauty trends for marketing campaigns

• Perform frequent competitive analysis, communicate findings, recommend changes, updates, and improvements to support the company’s objectives

Qualifications

• Must be able to receive college credit. This is For-College Credit Only.

• Business/Marketing major or relevant area of focus at an accredited 4-year university

• Skilled in using Microsoft Suite and Google Suite (primarily slides, docs, and sheets)

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong critical thinking, communication, grammar, and analytical skills

• Strong capacity for multi-tasking, working independently and time management

• Must be able to bring a laptop to work

• Must be able to work 2-3 days per week
