Fashion & Beauty PR Internship at RAGDOLL PR - Manhattan Beach, CA
RAGDOLL PR is in search of a motivated, professional, and trustworthy intern to support with various fashion and beauty PR duties. This is an extremely valuable opportunity for anyone looking to gain real experience in fashion and/or beauty PR. This is a part-time role in exchange for school credit. A commitment of at least 3 months (or semester/quarter) and minimum 2 days a week (15 hours) is required. You must have an interest in fashion and beauty and PR.
Responsibilities include: Supporting supervisor with day to day tasks including, but not limited to:
Monitoring print, digital press, and blogger press, general office duties
Preparing gifting materials for stylists, editors and influencers
Researching digital influencers/brands for potential partnerships
New Business Development/researching new brands to outreach for representation
Assisting with list building
Helping drive samples to stylists if needed *We reimburse all mileage and parking for these runs
Press release and pitch creation (gathering images to pitch to editors and stylists, actual pitch writing, etc)
Social media management
Required education: Associate or currently enrolled college student
Other Requirements:
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Keynote, Excel)
Photoshop and InDesign experience is a plus, but not required
Experience using Cision, Fashion Monitor is a plus, but is not required
Must be detailed oriented, trustworthy, reliable, have strong organizational skills, presentation and writing skills. Must have the ability and drive to meet deadlines, must take initiative and have a positive attitude. Must have great organizational, presentation and writing skills
Must have a car
