Jr. Business Analyst Intern at LVMH P&C - Miami, FL

POSITION 

Department: Latin America Export team

Reporting to: Area Managers of the region

Full time, paid internship (40 hours/week)

Duties:

FINANCIAL PART

Managing the Sell Out process:

  • Uploading and reformatting data into the Orion system.

  • Analyze the performances with the operational teams (Marketing / Commercial and Management)

Managing the CAPEX expenses follow up:

  • Coordinating the financial flow with Accounting and Architecture team.

  • Controlling the payment and communicating the time schedule.

  • Anticipating the Forecast (Budget line and new projects) and building the costs analysis.

Managing the OUTLOOK analysis:

  • Consolidating the data from the Area Managers into a coherent analysis.

  • Preparing written analysis of the Outlook vs. Monthly financial target.

COMMERCIAL PART

Analyze the Sell In - Sell Out equation for the clients and alert the Area Manager upon issues in the stock coverage for the future months

Sell In / Sell Out

  • Integrate the Sell In and Sell Out quarterly objectives in the analysis to be coherent with the annual performance expected.

  • Analyze catalog, animations and novelties orders vs. best-sellers performance and proposals and alert when OOS risks

  • Liaise with the sales assistant to follow up the daily Shipments vs Outlook and Monthly financial target.

Stock

  • Coordinate the store checks on the stock coverage with the Area Managers

  • Propose push order by location when necessary

  • Alert the Area Manager on potential high level for discontinuations or overstock items

Pricing

  • Process pricing analysis to alert Area Managers and clients on sensitive vs non-sensitive price alignments.

  • Liaise with the Area Managers & Marketing team to prepare the price list for the clients.

Assortment 

  • Analyze and understand the assortment by sub-market and location

  • Analyze the actual assortments and MAX SKUs and alert when there are missing references

Launches

  • Define together with the marketing team the Sell Out potential of the new initiatives

  • Support the marketing team to create monthly alert Sell in in order to prevent OOS for new launch (ex: 3 months before the OCD).

  • Liaise with the sales assistant to follow up the daily Shipments vs Outlook and Monthly financial target.

  • Liaise with the sales assistant to assure the proper completion of the template for the products, testers and discontinuations.

Animations

  • Define together with the Area Manager the Sell Out potential vs the animations initiatives

  • Analyze the promotional uplift of the different kind of animations

  • Liaise with Marketing regarding the template for POSM and GWP

VM

  • Analyze the impact of the Visual Merchandising strategy in the performances

 

PROFILE 

  • Bachelor's degree in fields of Business, Finance, or Marketing

  • Advanced Excel skills (V-look-up, pivot tables, find/replace, formulas, filtering, database management, etc.)

  • Strong relational skills

  • Organized, methodical, detail oriented, self-motivated

  • Interested in sales analysis, managing a retail business

  • Fluency in Spanish and English; French and/or Portuguese a plus

  • Sensitivity to luxury business

  • Must have valid US work authorization
