Rate of Pay: $22/hr

Brand Marketing / Marketing

Our Marketing organization includes a strategic team of big thinkers and creatives who truly work interdependently. Whether supporting our digital initiatives, planning our sampling program, or advising brands on how to win at Sephora from a marketing standpoint, we are constantly finding ways to underscore our promise to partner with our clients to make the beauty world feel like it’s theirs—and our place as the industry leader. The pace is fast, the learning is constant…but as part of a team this driven, the possibilities are endless.

 

As a brand marketing intern you will:

  • Develop a competitive research deck on top players in the wellness space and make recommendations on how the category at Sephora can be built. 

  • Analyze and report on Sephora’s client profiler and brand ROI for the Beauty Insider program. Prepare data to help make recommendations and sell brands on continued investment.

  • Assists in procuring and managing Beauty Insider sampling and promotional plans for brands.

  • Network with industry leaders and peers. Our Sephora executives are committed to investing in our interns and want to hear from you. Interns can expect to attend meetings with top leaders in the company. 

  • Get exposure to cross-functional teams. Sephora has a highly collaborative culture so you are encouraged and expected to work closely with other related teams such as campaign & content, promotions, loyalty, merchandising business analytics and brand partners.

  • Develop, grow, and have fun 

 

What you will accomplish:  

  • Lead or assist on projects using a hands-on approach

  • Contribute to developing the clean skincare and wellness category at Sephora

  • Start to gain marketing knowledge and experience in the beauty industry

  • Learn from the best by interacting with a dynamic team of professionals
     

To help ensure success, we are requiring the following characteristics, skills and experiences:

 

Education and experience:

  • Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field (Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Advertising) and is currently a junior or senior in credit hours

  • Attention to detail is a must

  • Organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Powerpoint, Word

Time Commitment:

  • Hours: 32 (expected to be physically in the office 4 days every week during standard business hours)
