Beauty PR Internship with CMM PR - New York, NY

Calling all interns with a love and passion for beauty! CMM is a mid-size full-service marketing communications agency located in the trendy Soho area of Manhattan and we’re looking for amazing fall interns to join our dynamic Public Relations teams. You will have the opportunity to learn first-hand the ins and outs of PR while working on high-profile beauty and lifestyle brands.

Depending on the Department Selected Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the development of content across social platforms

• Assisting with event planning/execution

• Assisting with monthly analytics reports

• Editing images for social content

• Influencer Research, Monitoring and Outreach

• Monitoring media placements

• Product mailings

• Research for digital strategy

• Updating media lists

• Writing pitches, fact sheets and press releases

Qualities we’re look for:

• Passion for PR, Social Media and pop culture

• Proficiency in Photoshop, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong writing skills

• Strong interpersonal/communication skills

• Close attention to detail

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to multitask

• Ability to work well both independently and within a team

• Accuracy and thoroughness
